Hello everyone my name is Angel and I am from South Florida. I am going to visit South Carolina soon and would like to fish for blue catfish and other species. I would appreciate any help you guys can offer me on land based fishing locations for blue catfish. I will return the favor for anyone that wants to fish in South Florida.

Don't know of any places to fish from land your best bet would be hire a guide on Murray, wateree, Monticello and Santee and let them take you. Usual cost is around $300.00.

Thank you for responding @sinkermaker. I don't plan on getting a guide for catfish for this trip. If someone invites me on their boat and I decide to go with them I will help with the gas and bring some snacks, let them keep my catch. I been researching for 2 months on places to fish for catfish from land in South Carolina and found several good places I can fish, so I should be ok. Just wanted to see if anyone wanted to fish while I was vacationing in South Carolina and I was going to return the favor in South Florida.
I have talked to campers at Santee State park that said they have had luck fishing off of the old 301/95 bridge that crosses the lake right below the park, check with park Rangers they may be able to give you some help

Oh I could wrestle a monster fish
No public fishing docks or piers on Wateree or Wylie?!?
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Ive never been to the landing, but there is one under the bridge for the wateree river in camden. I also see alot of people fishing at the landing for the wateree river on hwy 378 between columbia and sumter.
