    Default Wateree 2-23-18

Just got around to post, went back to wateree Friday and ended up catching 18 crappie with a few nice ones around 13 inches. Caught them mainly 4-7 ft of water just casting jigs around docks. Water temp was 65-67 on the surface. Name: IMG_7145.jpg

Probably 6-8 feet was the average around the docks with brush piles around them

Yea, it's early but the weather has dictated where the fish prefer to be. The shallows are heating up and it's drawing the fish to those areas. Not to mean they will spawn because Mother Nature hasn't prepared them for that yet....but the fish WILL be in the temps they prefer most.

If you wanna be on fish then you gotta be thinking outside the box, especially this year.
