At least you caught some way better than me and Remus did Tuesday. Thanks for sharing
Hit Wylie this a.m. Had a buddy from work that never tried tightlining . I think he is ready to go back. Kind of a slow day but enough to keep us awake. Met The Dawgg and Everett along with Uncle Remus and Mr. Sealy. Fish were still hanging close to the real deep water. But most of ours were caught in the 40 - 45 foot range. Tightline minnows bout 4 - 6 cranks off bottom. Water is full of trash right now. So be careful if you go out. Water temp started at 43 and was up to 49 when we pulled up. Nice day out. Now ready for all this rain to ease up so we can do it again. We had 15 keepers and a few perch along with a pair of kittys

Good job!
I am not going brag but I caught all those fish in ofishlbizzness's cooler along with my 3. Was a tuff day for us. Few glitches and Drs. office keep us from getting out there at early am. But we did go and that was a huge plus for us. Good job ofish and BTW Uncle Remus had several too.
Not a wasted day at all!
A good looking catch and for a first timer one that will have him tight lining more. The lakes will be full of debris after this weekend.

Guys y'all did good. I went to high rock and got skunked !!!! Not even a nibble. I have never seen so much debris on the water. Put in at flat swamp and dead bait was laying every where. Ran down to the train trusses to find clearer water but no fish , the water was so high I couldn't get my skiff under the bridge. Put the boat back on the trailer and put in at Tamarac and went down the the lake and there it was , the biggest debris field I ever seen on the water. As far as you could see was thick debris, phone poles , logs , limbs , leaves and any other trash you could think of. Left at 3:00 to come home and came to a standstill on I85 , took 3 hrs to get home normally takes hour and fifteen mins. Just glad to make it home safe with 6 dozen minners.
Glad y'all had some luck today with all this rain we had , nice fish

Kind of thought you may head our way! Still would have gotten stuck in traffic with 5 dozen minnows and a few crappie from Wylie!
Maybe next time
Nice catch anytime.
