Coming back to Union County from Lake Norman during a snow storm some years ago pulling a boat on 485 ain't fun.
Anyone ever fish in the snow?
How’s the visibility?
And good stories?

Fish tremble at the sound of my name
One of my best Striper days was on Norman at the Hot hole. Snow was supposed to start at 3PM, by noon it was coming down in buckets. Boats started leaving, but we were on fish, couldn't keep the rods in the water.
Finally gave up and headed in had to go slow cuz we could see 50ft in front, got to the 150 bridge everybody was going real slow and blowing their horns. Got loaded up and 150 was a mess, 77 was as bad long drive home.Great fishing
Never fished in the snow ain't gonna start now. Just rain here on Murray
One of the best days I ever had crappie fishing was in the snow. Sometimes they just go crazy when it starts coming down.

I have been fishing twice when it was snowing & sleeting. Once on Santee, we were loading the boat with white bass while it was snowing. Didn't have to drive anywhere so we just kept fishing till we got tired of catching.
One other time on wylie, up in the Catawba discharge just about up to the concrete bulkhead, I caught a bunch of bass. This was before 911 even ever happened. That used to be a great spot till the 911 attacks.
oh yes; several times on lake murray and yes; it was cold but fun. also was about 30 years younger and did not care.
