I been seeing all the posts about the air fryer so I bought one. I am not a cook but I tried it out tonight with some chicken drum sticks. I screwed up the seasoning and at first forgot to coat in olive oil. Once I realized my mistake I just sprayed them with pam olive oil spray. I cooked for around 20 minutes and they were delicious. Sorry no pictures as my phone want let me post I did not have any help from the wife as she is sleeping. This thing is for (cooking for dummies) it is so simple. I am going to try crappie in it tomorrow.

It tried some crappie and perch in ours and I over cooled them and made leather out of them. Let me know how long you cook them. Good luck

I been thinking about one of them, too.
go to this post Air fryer page 4 post #32 cevans has a real good recipe on doing crappie with the temps and times on how to do them !!! hope this helps !!!!
One person that owns one says it's really just a mini oven. Cooks fries and tater tots crisp though. Other than that I don't think he has really used his much.

The simplicity of the thing is awsome I cooked some wings and fries today and they were delicious. I will try fish tomorrow I got to get a pack of crappie out of the shop freezer. It is a modified convection oven but as long as it works what the heck call it what you want.
