After the great windstorm of Nov. 18th we gonna try one more time to settle the state war ! A little something different this time so pay attention. We ,( After talking to several folks ) think a day trip to High Rock will be the deciding vote. Now the best date we came up with is Dec. 9. A Sat. If you would like to make this event and need directions or any help about fishing speak up. If from S.C. you will need a N.C. license or permit for this. Hope we get a decent showing from the south as we will be in enemy territory for this event. As for fishing , this is a great crappie hole. There is a no size limit or keep limit on crappie. They have both white and black crappie there. Last three trips my boat has had from 50 to 90 fish kept. So this is it. Defend our honor and show them Tarheels what us Lappers can do. Times will be decided soon. But early till mid day something !

I'll be there with a crew also! I asked Mr. Monk and Everett to go also. I'm ready now, got batteries charging, rod on the toon and just needs water to float it.

But we will need plenty of troops for the battle. We going deep into enemy territory for this one. So lets get a convoy of SC boats headin that way Dec. 9th. You will like the fun and fishin and the B.S. for sure.

I would love to fish that lake but my fishing has been put on hold for a couple weeks wife had surgery on her right hand and will be three weeks before splint comes off. So I sit here every day watching these beautiful days with no wind just slip by and I can't do anything. Oh well I gotta take care of the wife cause it will be her turn in April when they start replacing my knees

That's what I did. One and then the other a year later. Little off balance learning to walk again but you got to do what you got to do. The last one done still hurts from time to time in the muscles around the knee. It takes time to heal completely. You'll do fine I'm sure. Your in my prayers.
