We finally got back out on the water this morning. Put in on Big Allison looking for crappies. Tried several brush piles on the way down to the main channel. Only caught a few perch here & there. Moved around to Little Allison & hit a couple of brush piles that we have had in for several years. Caught 12 crappies. Also, we tried several of the piles we put in last year but got no bites.
Moved out on a point & caught about 30 small perch. Good for catfish bait. We also caught 6 bass off of the crappies minnows.
I tired several colors of jigs but the only thing the crappies wanted were minnows.

At least you got some fish. I got no deer yet!Glad you got out and went. Weekend to first half of the week don't look to good with the threat of rain. Hope you get into a big school and ware them out.
