    Default Wylie 8-9-17

We hit Big Allison this morning looking for perch. Finally, after several stops, we caught about 20 small perch to use for bait. We didn't get but 8 cats but all were a lot bigger than the perch. Drifting cut bait on the bottom in 25 to 35' was the place to be. 2 biggest were 18 & 16 lbs. We also caught 3 bass on minnows.

The big surprise was that I hung another big, big cat that got off after I had fought it for 10 minutes. It stay on the bottom up until the last minute. All I could do was apply pressure & hold on. This was the largest fish I have ever had a hook in. WOW

    Going back soon!
