    Default wateree catfishing help


    grandson wants to catch fish.never been to Wateree but I here good place to catch catfish I dont care size but need action.All info will be appreciated .Hope to go Tuesday afternoon, night.Thanks for the any help!

    Go to the state park. You can fish from the banks or from a boat close to the bank. You can use hotdog weenies and a cork. Or cut perch on the bottom. There is a spot down around camp site 30 that was built by an eagle scout. It has a bench and fence with rod holders. If you can get some fresh shad, you will catch some cats.

    I had also found a good spot up the river leading into the lake on the north side, just look for the deep hole on navionics and look for the marks on your graph. I was catching them there on crappie gear and minnows tightlining.
