Looks like they would get a good reaction strike with that blade cutting up like they do?
Road Runners work kinda the same way and aren't as prone to twisting your line. I use Rooster Tails a lot for Bream, but that is cast and retrieve.

I sure have enough of them for walleyes, but havent tried.
If you do,most definitely use a good swivel. Looks like one of those walleye harness tipped with a minnow would work on a crappie also?. Tim, you ever done that?

Have pulled them with mixed results. To make them work right the speed has to be slow which makes them hard to control the depth so when pulling more than one they tend to get hung up on everything you get near. This is because of depth control and not really knowing the true depth they are running (they run different then jig or road runners). Now pulling one or two max I have had good luck with them on the smaller lakes but they don't seem to be as effective on bigger water.
Just my experience with them.

Havent tried them there, but depth control is difficult. Wouldnt be hard running them up to 12 fow with no weight or running a floating inline spinner off the bottom with a bottom bouncer but those dont do well with alot of snags, we normally run those on sandy flats in mn or in the tall weeds. I think it can be done, with the summer bite being slow, could trigger some bites.
