What part of Georgia are you from. It is probably a 2 1/2 hr drive from Clarke Hill on the sc side. Bream should be back on the bed this full moon. They will bed up to October. Bream are caught all over the lake but the upper end of Marion being the best. Stump hole swamp is really good. Have not seen any mayflies on Murray yet. One of our members spent a couple days down there and had a good trip. Probably really muddy right now with all the rain we had. Give it a week or so to clear up.

The Shellcrackers were bedding the first of May. We did well all week at Stumphole fishing red worms and crickets on the bottom. Surprisingly the crickets worked as well as the worms. The Bream should be bedding now and will bed all summer in varying intensity. Like Sinkermaker said all this rain may have it muddy. It was just stained when we went first of month.
Call Dave at Stumphole landing and ask about conditions. (803-826-6111)
