Ray, I fine thing you are doing, that may keep those kids on the "right" path in life
Thanks,
Several of you have generously donated rods and reels to our club to use at our functions. Today we hosted our largest event ever. We had over 70 kids from various shelters around the area at our club for a morning of fishing and then a great meal prepared by our talented chefs. We worked yesterday to rig up every rod and reel we had with hooks, weights, and bobbers so all the kids would have a rod to use. Many caught their first fish and were thrilled at the experience. So many never had a male figure in their life and mom did not have time or money to teach them the simple act of casting a rod and reel, so we had our work cut out for us, but most caught on quickly and many caught fish.
Here is a link to our club page and again, Thanks from Lexington Wildlife Chapter and myself for your part in making this possible.

Thanks to your club for taking the time to do this. Those kids will not forget yesterday and for some it was probably the best day that they can remember. Thanks for going the extra mile.
Thanks for taking time to help out with the kids. If you need more equipment I'll try to do better than last time LOL Looks like you had a large crowd joining in. Thanks to all of your club members Ray! Good Job.
Thanks to you and your club. The kids are our future. If we keep them fishin they wont get in trouble somewhere else.
