    Default Greenwood

I've been crappie fishing several times at Greenwood but have not had much luck. Just wondering if the crappie have already spawn. I only get to fish on the weekends and the wind is usually blowing about 20mph every time I get to go.

Crappie have not spawned out. Every day is tough on Greenwood as far as the boaters goes and the weekend is crazy. Stay after them and look t more shallow water as the day goes along. Some will move shallow as the water warms in the day. Greenwood Lake I think makes wind, never find many days some wind isn't blowing there and a hard lake to find a place out of the wind.

What part of the lake do you fish mainly. A lot of fish are shallow now so look in 10 ft or less water. What technique do you use.

I have a place on reedy right above where the rivers fork. I usually fish with a tube jig with a cork when the crappie move in shallow.
