Got up with my brother and brother in law at 8:45 this morning for another perch jerk. We managed to ride the wind for a while before having to leave the water. Only took 6 dozen miners because we didn't plan to stay long. We boated 50 white perch with maybe 20 throw backs. Only one crappie wanted to take a ride with us. Water temp was 58.3. All fish came off of BA. Secret spot xxx plus x. When we found fish we anchor locked and fought the wind to sit still. TM did good except once it tripped the switch after a hard battle with the wind for about 30 minutes hard anchor lock in 15 mph wind and gust higher. Tuff getting the pontoon back on the trailer. I hope these picture come through. I've had problem posting them. I got to please David and Brett! I don't want them to think I'd lie about fishing

Great catch. I posted some results from today in the NC forum. The wind was terrible. I'm relieved to know we weren't the only ones crazy enough to brave these conditions.

With the wind it was tuff to hold over them. They bit hard and fast when you got over them, just long enough to get several and then they'd be gone. Yep! We's crazy. Plan of thought is that it being windy makes them bite like bass do, fast and careless. But that's my thinking ,not Everett and Wayne's. LOL

Good job Ron in all that wind. Hope to get up that way before too long if I can keep my boat running.
