Lake Secession Update
I have a friend with a cabin on Lake Secession that I spoke with today. He said rumor has it that the dam repairs should be completed mid March with the lake beginning to refill at that point. How soon it gets to full pond of course depends on rain. Apparently they drain for repairs every 10 years and it takes several years for the really good fishing to return.

From what I have been told fill up has started and expect lake to be full by 2nd week of March.

Talked to a guy working on the dam on Thursday the 9th and he said that they had just put the plug in. I looked yesterday and it has come up some but it's rising slow.

We rode out yesterday just to see what the lake looked liked. The water has already begun to rise and is at the bottom of the ramp now! It will take a ton of rain for it to reach full pool by the 2nd week of march
