I'm glad yall had a good time. I hate I missed it. At the time I didn't know how I would be feeling with getting the flu Tuesday.
I was also worried aboutique the night air getting to me too.
I got a call from Micorp late Saturday asking if I wanted to meet him Wateree. The wife said she thought I should be ok for a day trip so I meet Tim at the ramp and we set out.
Muddy water. Fishing was real slow but we picked up 10 crappie and 3 cats and a perch to end the day. All 10 crappie were quality fish. All but one was over a lb and a half with the one around a lb.
Tim caught 2 2+lbers. His firsts.
All in all had a great day.
Hate I had Monday off but now having to work it to make up time.
Thank a Veteran every chance you get.

Sounds like a good time even with a slow bite. Putting crappie in the boat is a plus and congrats to all that made the nightstalk.

LittleJohn, I have caught them on jigs also and put more in the boat than the others fishing minnows. It was just not a good place for my jigs. I had a couple of taps but very light short hits plus water was not the best either, it was dingy. I prefer minnows most of the time, that's why I'm rusty as a nail.
