Since the new year has started the "infamous" Raccoon and I been experimenting with ways to make our fishing "better" this year and not sucky like year before and year before and year before. The snow that happened last weekend bought us some time to work on experiments at the Pinfish Pete proving (pay) pond. Those poor fish in the pond had to endure our prototype wacky lures, tangled rigs, smelly baits, and an out of control jon boat on their 5 acre living quarters. After all the trial and error (more like error and error) the critics(fish), turn their fins down on us.
Then the Raccoon promised not to spend to much money on bait and keep what he buys in tip top shape. Fate struck him. As he was driving back from his bait store with an open Monster energy drink container in his hand, he fumbled the can. Instead of spillling it all over his new truck interior, he had the can land in his minnow bucket, spilling all the drink into the water. The water turned yellow. Since it was too late to do anything about it, he left it like it was and prayed the minnows would survive till the next day fishing trip to wateree (1-14).
That monster drink helped energized the minnows and he caught 2 big stripers, a new PB crappie, half dozen stonker perch, and 3 pan sized blue cats. what I caught up front..... 3 squeaker perch and dem slimers.
so instead of using blue keep alive additive, pour Monster into ya minnow bucket.
Oh I could wrestle a monster fishEatmorecrappie, Thumper1 LIKED above post

Sounds like a plan to me! I thump on the bottom of the boat to catch stripers! It works!! Until proven wrong, it is right!
