Beautiful rain
Woke up to the patter of rain drops this morning. The first we have had in 37 days. We have had barely enough to give the grass a drink so far. Hopefully much more is on the way.

It has been so good to walk out into rain!! Hope we get more today in the mountains because the fires are bad and growing. Last night the air was full of the smell of burning leaves.

We wound up with 5/8th's inch here. Our last rain was back in Sept so it was MUCH NEEDED and a welcomed sight.

We had big rain from about noon until about five. Maybe an inch plus. I hope the lake level comes up a little. The fish in Murray have ticks it's been so dry!

The rain didn't help the smoke much. I was going to take a ride up the lake and look for some stripers and perch but the smoke from the mountain fires is just hanging on the lake. No wind blowing to move it out. The air quality down here is pretty bad right now.
