Here we go ! The N.C. / S.C. Clash

After asking for input and getting a few ideas this is it. The N.C. / S.C. Clash will be held Sat. Oct 1. It will be a night stalk event. We will fish out of Ebenezer Ramp this year. Mainly cause 95 % of the boats come this way anyhow. But also there are covers and cooking area to meet and greet at. How bout the meet and greet part start at 5:00p.m. at the ramp. We lookin at getting some BBQ from one of our local guys. Everyone can pitch in a couple of bucks for the BBQ and we will get someone to bring the buns or bread . Will need a volunteer for plates ,utinsels, and paper goods. Also a volunteer for drinks and cups. We can iron out the rough edges as time gets closer. But will neeed a pretty close head count on who is coming by Sept. 25 so we can know how much Q to get. Fishing will be as usual. N.C. group against S.C. crowd. The total fish weigh in will be decided at the meeting before launch. If you have never been to one of our little outings this will be the one to make. There is more tall tales and fish stories than newly's dog has fleas ! Come on out and lets make this one for the books. John I changed the title a little and made the thread a sticky so it will be seen by all.

I hope all that can tries to make this event. They are always a great time with other like minded fisherman.
I'm going to try to make this event if all works out.

John I will be there and hopefully Neil will be able to make it. I will bring plates cups and utensils. If you need a donation for the barbque then let me know

I will be glad to help pay for the BBQ sometimes the restaurant will give buns with a pound, if they don't I'll bring buns. If I'm thinking right a local Fire Dept will have BBQ pork/chicken that day if you want I'll bring a pound from there.

Hey Turkeyfoot which fire dept? Got a cousin that was a Captain(?) at one. He lives around Matthews.

I got a plan for BBQ. We'll need a sign up list on what you can bring: buns, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, BBQ sauce of choice, plates and plastic spoons/forks/paper towels and drinks/water/ice. I'm going reserve the shelter this week and I'm looking at #3 which is right on the front as you turn to launch, just past the loading zone. This way, it's easy to load and unload ice chest/food/supplies and chairs.

Everyone is invited, family/friends/kids and guest, so just holler out who and how many and what you can bring by the 27th Sept. Pm Ofishlbizzness or me if any questions.

Don and Neil will be there and I will bring plates silverware and paper towels. I also have ketchup and mustard to bring.
