Got out about 6 this morning on Big & Little Allison. Tried for crappies(minnows & jigs) around several brush piles but no hits. Moved down to mouth of Big Allison & caught 3 bass & several perch. Ran up Little Allison a ways & tried again for bass. The only thing I could get the bass to bite was live shinners & bream.

Total for morning was 8 bass, 12 perch & 5 cats. All caught before 9.

Nice till about 9 when it stared getting hot.

Glad you got out for some fishing. That's still a good day with a catch like that. Heat is getting to me too! I'm on the evening shift this week and it's no fun. I'd rather be fishing. Thanks for the update on the catching.

Sounds as you had a good few hours of fishing before the heat ran you off the lake. Enjoyed your report.
