sorry for the tough luck today Charles == in about 4or 5 months it will be cool enough to stay out long enough to find um
Looks like my luck has run out! We fished for bass again this morning on Big Allison & on main lake till about 10:30. We caught 4 bass on drop shot & 1 trolling crank baits. Also, we had 2 to jump & throw the crank bait. We threw a spoon for a while but only 1 perch hit.
Someone asked if the bass I had been catching were spots? As far as I can tell, are were just plain largemouth bass. The water temp is probally driving them deep.
Hope the crappiekidd had better luck than we did! He was breaking in a new dropshot rig.

Good meeting with you Charles. Grandson got one bass on spoon. My drop shot rod and reel I bought yesterday at Cabela's is still a virgin. Hopefully next time will be the charm.
Charles and friend.

Wow! No wonder they didn't catch any bass, got to go through to much to get ready! Can you say that in one word?
Charles they got sore mouths from all the bass fishermen, maybe they moved over a few yards. It will pick up again. There's a tournament tonight and one Saturday night, plus a lot of others after them. It's tough being a bass!

Charles, sometimes it is catching and sometimes it's fishing. Hope you find them catching next time. Regardless...........it fun to just get out there.
