    I hope no one was on the lower half of the lake yesterday afternoon, Elija clark state park took a direct hit with several campers destroyed and at least one person was transported to the hospital, on down the lake on ga little river mistletoe state park was hit by the same storm with several campers damaged by falling trees. According to their web site the park is closed due to storm damage.

    I hate that for all involved. They later forecast that those same violent storms would hit Elbert county where I live with 60-70 mph winds and downed powerlines. I put the boat in the shed but we didn't get anything, and for that I'm thankful.

    We were camping at Bobby Brown a when a storm hit that park, it wasn't any fun so I know those campers had a hard ride. Hope all of them are ok.
