i think it was originally used to haul animals two by two

I think you should hold on to it. It is old enough to class as antique. Who knows the potential $$$$?

Dawgg, it's at least 50 years old, maybe I should run up to Minnesota corporate office to see if they are interested?

I think I could rent a boat cheaper than towing the barge up there.

What I remember about those is a battery was good for about 2 hours. Any more and the car wouldn't start....... What?????none of y'all ever took the battery out of your car to use in the boat?

Only time was when I bought my bass boat the guy showed up to test ride and the battery was dead.i pulled the batt out of my truck and started the boat.
This one runs all day, of course we never ran very far with the 14' jon boat with really low sides.
We'd always crank up the whopping big 6hp gas motor to move

Looked on EBay, there's a couple of old ones on there. One from 1934 with an asking price of 225.00, most others have little interest as far as bidding goes. Gives you a little information as far as worth.

I found one on line new for $275.00 they have the box and owners manual. From the pictures it had never been used, go figure why someone would get one and not use it for 40-50 years. Mine is a little different the set and model numbers are both on the top of mine vs theirs
I'll hang on to this one
