Spanky83,
I stopped pulling for the crappies 3 weeks ago on the hill. I have switched over to stripers. Since the water is so clear now, I noticed a lot of 20FOW brushtops with crappies. The night fish bite at the bridges is awesome also.
Hello, I'm heading to Clark Hill Friday night to spend a week fishing on the lake. I haven't fished Clark Hill in several years and was wondering what stage the crappie are in. I'm assuming they are in post spawn but not sure. I'm taking my wife and 3 year old daughter fishing and want her to catch a few fish. We will be staying in Lincolnton and fishing Soap Creek and SC Little River. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks and I hope to post some pictures soon!

Thanks. I planned on trying to find brush piles with my electronics in 20-25 fow. Hopefully the lake is still cool enough the boat traffic isn't terrible.

My last trolling trips revealed a lot of "empty" water and my only bites came when I trolled over or near brush. So I think brushpile fishing is the better option, along with night fishing too it seems. Good luck!
