Operation North State (Take a Veteran Fishing)


Hey guys it is time to start up the Operation North State events for disabled veterans. The next one is on Norman on Thursday April 14. Terry Snider says we need about 14 more fishermen. This is not a competition. You can fish for bass, crappie, stripers or whatever. You will be paired with a wounded warrior or a disabled veteran for a day of fishing. There will be door prizes, food, and plenty of friendship to go around. All it will cost you is some gas and a little time. You will be more than repaid by what you will experience. These events are awesome. A few people on here have participated and will also tell you about these events. I look forward to them every year.

I'll be taking the toon up on Thursday to try for Stripers, anybody have Thursday off and want to be a 1st mate to help get these guys on some fish?
