    Default Yeti Tumblers

When Yeti first introduced their tumblers I said I would not own one for two reasons. One, they cost too much and two, I prefer a handle on mine. Makes it easier to grab when I am driving the car or boat.

The first issue resolved itself when I got one as a birthday gift. I set about to resolve the second issue and thought I would share in case any of you might find it useful.

I found handles for Tervis tumblers and the 16 oz one was $6 so I bought one. My Yeti is a 20 oz so the handle only would go up about half way, which worked but was awkward. So, using a bit of engineering theory, I put the handle in a pot of hot water and the Yeti in the fridge for 10 min. Took out the Yeti and rubbed dish soap around the top and slid the handle to a perfect spot.
    Works like a charm.

Funny thing reading the comments on the Tervis website they state it only fits Tervis products. Marketing I guess.

And by the way, it is amazing how long it keeps things hot or cold. I have set mine in the kitchen at night with ice in it and the next morning most of the ice was still frozen.

I ordered from Amazon, but I think Acadmy sells them and probably other shops that sell Tervis stuff. Jewelry Warehouse maybe?

Good info Ray. Those handles only settles one of the problems though.

The next thing the rest of you need is some of SeaRay's perked coffee! I look forward to it at least once a month! Yum!!

Ray I really like my Yeti's. I didn't need the handle but I hate cold coffee so the Yeti was a great purchase.
