    Default Secession soup

Loaded the toon with crappie condos and headed out around 1:00 yesterday. After a little work, we were able to fish a couple of hours. Water looks like tomato soup on the upper half of the lake and the north wind weren't too pleasant either. Water temp was anywhere between 51-54 degrees. Didn't catch any fish but any time spent with the kids outdoors is time well spent!

With the deposit you made you will have better trips coming Thought the lake would be in real bad shape again. Time on the water with the kids are priceless, thanks for the report.

Been making a lot of deposits in secession the past couple of months. I really enjoy that lake! I also plan on dropping a few in upper rocky river arm of Russell. I know there is a ton of structure in that lake but I don't think a couple dozen buckets would hurt it either.

There needs to be more cover for them in the right places. The coves/creek runs doesn't have a lot of cover for them to more around to as they move from the deeper water shallow so any brush you add will help. I spent two years adding a lot of PVC piles on the Rocky River leg of Russell and they have paid off and still does. I need to add some more myself this year. Thanks for the work you are doing to improve our fishing.
