Fished a little yesterday...12:30 til 5 or so when it started raining. Pretty windy and cold most of the day with the pressure steadily falling.
Caught a 2 lb channel on a live shiner and a 1 lb bass in the cast net...in 1' of water feeding on shiners and small threadfin shad. Lost the big fish on a 4" shiner, felt like a 5 lb striper. Didn't get the circle hook in him and he let it go.
Bunch of tiny catfish, perch, and a couple bream on small hooks with worms on the bottom.

Wasn't going to keep any fish anyway so I guess it worked out.

Yall be sure to publish those coordinates so when I come for a visit I'll know where to fish.

That sounds like a fun afternoon of fishing! Congrats on getting out and catching them.
Hooking up every chance I get!

I can't wait until crappie are within range of the pier that is for sure. I know all of the brush piles and bottom contours. Been there since I could walk. Family's been there since the 70's or earlier.
