While all the big chain stores are so afraid of offending someone, that they will only say Happy Holiday, I would like to give a big shout out to Ted Stambolitis, owner of the Flight Deck here in Lexington SC, for not being afraid to give credit for the real reason for Christmas.
One of our favorite places to eat and this is a big part of the reason why. Foods not bad either.

Merry Christmas to all my CDC friends.

It's good to see that Ted stands up for what he believes. Others should do the same even if it does tick off those non believers.

Probably been there 7-8 times since we moved here in May. One of our favorite places for lunch. We were going out for a Veterans Day lunch and saw on the marque that they were giving a BBQ lunch for us vets. I told Ted that I was going somewhere else before I saw his sign. He laughed and said that he thought he heard tires squealing when I turned around. Good food and good people for sure.

Lloyd you may not know the history of the whole Flight Deck mall. He did not want to build the typical plain Jane strip mall. He wanted it to be a place that folks would be proud to see in their town. He spent way more money than normally would be needed to put in a really nice place to shop. Like walking around a Greek Village.
    He is a good guy.

I assume that's Ted I have been talking to. Kinda stocky, mid fifties, graying curly hair. He acts like he owns the place.

That is Ted. And if you eat there regularly, he will know your name, your family etc and always ask about them. We eat there almost every week. Only about 3/4 mile from our house.
