The best game they have played all year. It should help them to get a good start next year. Congrats on a heck of a game. Why does this game have to be so dang nerve racking!!!

Carolina played much better than I expected they would after losing to Ed Cid. I only hope we are not making a mistake not hiring Elliot. He had to win some of the games to have a shot at full time coach but he had almost no talent to work with. Last time I saw an interim coach with as much passion and fire as Elliot was a fellow named Dabo when he took over at Clemson. Watching him that first game he coached as interim head coach, my son made the comment, "Clemson is making a mistake if they don't hire him as the head coach".
We keep hoping Sabin will leave Bama and they make Dabo an offer he can't refuse, being a Bama boy and all. Doubt he would leave right now though, regardless of the offer.

I kinda agree with you Searay. Elliot wants to be here. Local boy who has lots of fire in his belly. These guys they are talking about don't have much more resume than he does. We need some new asst. coaches. Spurrier got old and tired two years ago and should have retired when he was winning big. 33 wins in three years and five in a row against the Taters is pretty good. I used to love to go to work and all of a sudden I hit a wall and all I wanted was out. I guess most of us do that. Even head football coaches.
