OOPS! You are correct
your fixin to get somebody in a heap of trouble....the NC/SC line is the middle of the river from the mouth of the Southfork river all the way to the Island just north of Torrence creek.........the west bank is SC while the east bank is NC, except for the back of Catawba creek also known as seven oaks, thats in NC....if you fish that area you best have both licenses because the line isn't marked but it somewhere before you go under Hwy 279 bridge
I can only wish to be as good as my dog thinks I am

David my NC license was $36 plus I buy the trout for another $13. For the money it is worth the cost so you are covered plus you may find some NC lakes you want to fish

Seven Oaks Bridge is in NC according to the N.C.G.S. signs on the bridge. That's what a NC game warden told me. And with the signs on the pilings makes sense. So from the bridge back to the back of the creek is in NC.
From the bridge out is SC.
Hope that helps.
