Thread: Storm update

Ray thanks for posting the update from your area. I know a lot of people are suffering hardships that will not go away quickly and they have a long road to travel to get their life's back to something that may look close to the life they were living before the storms. Our prayers are with them in the upstate.

They finally got Hwy 1 open at the bridge where some of us met for lunch last Friday. I was able to snap a couple of quick pictures as we drove over the bridge.
What you are seeing is the dam at the back of the picture which burst and what you see from the dam to the highway was two parking lots. There was a secondary stream between the lots with a foot bridge to walk over. All of that is gone including the pavement of the parking lot. Uncle Remus you were parked in this lot when you came.
