    Default Nivens Creek boat ramp?

I am getting conflicting stories about open or closed at Nivens. Wednesday it was open, my brother inlaw used it. Thursday! It was closed by what people at work was telling me. My brother inlaw said it was not a problem to launch a boat over there, then the rumor it was closed. So without having to drive over there does anyone know for sure since Wednesday is it open or not? Thanks!

I may just want to slip out there Tuesday night and try to break this dry spell I've had of no fishing. I have been working since Tuesday and my knee hasn't given out yet. Stiff but not something a heating pad and ice can't help! Holler out if you know for sure about the ramps.

I had four people come in at work telling me it was closed. I will put more thought in a trip now. Thanks guys for the update! I really wasn't wanting to drive half way around the lake just to see if it had closed. Traffic wise it would take and hour. LOL Pulling the boat maybe longer. I know how you feel Grady when you rush over here to fish with us after working all day. Craig, thanks for watching the news! I try not to watch to much of it because it is always a shooting or bad news for families trying to survive. When I go I'll shout out to see if anyone wants to go.

How did you do? Everett told me about the rocks and humps. I hope we can get out there and catch something even if it's the sniffles. I may try it Monday week after next early and be back in time for doc appointment at 3:30. Only day I'll have to go. Got my deer season opening Oct 1 so I'll play with my 50 cal. and see what I can get. Thanks for the info.
