Brett, it will get better. You will have to wait with the rest of us to get back on the water. It won't be long. Maybe Stump Hunter will come up here and teach all of those who can fit into a kayak or canoe all the required technical stuff. I am looking into getting a small Jon boat and use a trolling motor to get to some of the closer fishing spots. I can launch from Big Allison Ramp. or Ebenezer. I and we all are all getting cabin fever and it's a good thing my wife is out of town this week and next. My train of thought is not stable with fishing on my mind. LOL My dogs just walk away from me when I call them. They can sense things like that when humans can't. Hang in there Brett!

By the way, lots of little islands are forming where the water use to be. More than I've seen in any other drought.

Now you are starting to understand why you should have a small boat parked in your yard!! LOL A good fishing kayak is more stable than any jon boat I have fished out of.
