    Default Santee

They are still biting. Fished both Thursday and Friday last week. Thursday found the fish jumping in the boat. Jigs were the ticket as the fish were extremely aggressive. Friday produced another limit catch, but darn if you didn't have to knock them in the head to get one to bite it. The fish wouldn't hardly touch a jig, nearly all fish were caught on minnows. Bunches of fish are being caught in very shallow water, water 6 feet and less. I also took the time to place 6 more brush piles out to help all you guys out that would rather spend the day looking for brush over a few hours of putting it out. I'm just sweet like that. :o

Nice coolers Tim. What?!? No coordinates on those piles? Sure would save me time and trouble.

BTW, did you notice the surface temps before the sun came up? Thx.

I sneaked down to the lake today and found the fish biting pretty darn good. Another fine limit got the cooler treatment.

Nice going Tim! Congratulations on 2 days of great fish! Glad you were able to sneak in an extra day this week. Looks like you had to get a new cooler from looking at yesterdays cooler shot. You must have wore out the other one catching all those fish every week. Thanks for the report and pics. Oh yeah good luck tomorrow and Friday if you go.

Great catch, everyone catching fish shallow. Guess I'll try that next time.
