Out of my area hope you get into some fish, thanks for the offer on beverage! Come on up to Lake Wylie at Ebenezer Park and then I'll take you up on a Pepsi and help you catch a fish or two. Good luck!

Nice to have you as a crappie.com member. Now for the fishing part. Mostly all fish are on brush right now you can still catch fish shallow but they will be few and far between. So if i where you and staying where you stated you will be staying. The very 1st thing i would do would be to find a lake map so i could find the river channel. Then i would be looking for any place along that river channel that has a turn or a bend. If you have any electronics on your boat use them to your advantage. Look around those turns and bends for brush believe me it's there you just have to take your time and look. Do not be in a hurry to fish right away look around a little. One problem that I have when I fish that part of the lake is that everything looks like it should hold fish and most times it does but this is summer and the fish will be where they have the best oxygen food and water temp and that would be along the river channel. Now don't fish right in the river channel like i said if you have electronics then i would cris cross the channel from one side to the other one eye on my finder the other for standing timber just under the water surface that could end your day before you even get started. If you don't have electronics on your boat you can still find brush as well as fish. You would still need to be as close to the river channel as possible get setup put a couple of rods out and slow troll and be patient you will come into contact with the fish or brush. When you do find brush mark it somehow so you can come back to it fish may or may not be on that one pile at that time but at least you have a spot to check up on now from time to time that's not to say that someone else does not already know about it. Ink should be on here in a few he does really well around the state park and should be able to drop some more knowledge on you. If you need more help drop me a PM I have a few piles that I started back in late feb. That are producing a few fish right now. I dropped 10 and 4 out of the 10 are holding fish. Its going to be bot out so stay cool drink plenty of water and be safe!!!! Hope you catch your limit everyday! !!!
A bad day fishing is better then a good day at work. Unless u fish for a living
