Had a good time fishing with ofishlbizzness. He learns quick like a grasshopper. LOL He showed me his favorite places and his old home site. We fished hard as the wind really pushed us around, his new I pilot worked just fine considering the circumstances. We didn't have any skunk on us but it did look like I was going too until I finally got a crappie on board. The stripers were small and a good sight if they are not kept, there should be some good fishing in the future. Met up with Remus and fishfinder8 after it was decided that we should call it a day and check out the catches. We had the crappies and several big perch and Remus and fishfinder8 had a bunch of perch in good eating size. It was a good day accept the wind wasn't invited. Cat and bass guys filled the parking lot at day break but didn't hinder us any. Thanks guys for a good day!

It was a bit windy was'nt it. But all in all a fun day. Caught a few nice slabs. Some huge perch. And a bunch of small stripers. There will be a good crop next spring if people dont keep the little fellows. Had fun with the Dawgg. He makes a pretty good teacher. Put the I-Pilot through its paces. Did as well as possible in 25 mph wind. We pulled jigs and minners from 6 fow out to 25. My buddy Charlie and Mike did fair on crappie also. They had one at 2.2 lbs. Butch and Dolton had enough of the breeze and cut out bout 11:00. Actually Dolton was hungry. You know how teen age kids eat. Remus and and fishfinder8 did o.k. Maybe our next outing will be calm and dry. Thanks Dawgg for ridin along. Maybe fishfinder8 took a cooler shot before he cleaned em.

Sorry guys no cooler shot I had a great time on the SS Remus#2. With the Gale force winds it was tough to keep the toon where we wanted but we were able to catch some perch and small stripers! Thank you again Remus for the ride. But I'm not sure if I believe the minnow net got your pants all wet???????? But everyone knows that you can't tell a lie All joking aside thank you again for the ride and listening to me!!! Maybe next time we can find us some slabs?

Do you really think Remus listens to anyone? You should have let him off the toon to use the woods.

hey Craig you are welcome on the uss uncle remus any time you get a chance to go.
we caught a lot of 1lb. perch and slab daddy crappie up to Friday but sat. just was not our day. found plenty fish but with the wind the bait went by um so fast they couldn't tell what it was we knocked off bout one and had a little bull riding in parking lot then headed home and ran across a nice bass boat sitting in back of nice pickup yup in the bed of a pickup bout a 18 footer == yup someone rearended one that rearended one that rearended the bass boat that put the boat up in the bed of the pickup. took bout 30 min. to get through that mess but had a nice safe ride on rest of way home. looking forward to next outing with the
