Thats cool stuff there, really like that.
I've had a few folks ask about my rod storage on my boat and what i use for a anchor. The racks are 100% stainless and after you remove your rod they lay flat and take up no space at all. i have them on my boat and in my garage to store them when not on boat. it keeps me from breaking tips and tangling them up. The anchor i use is a claw style. it has a eye on bottom and a eye on top. That way you can tie to bottom and use a zip tie on top.The one in picture is 30Lb, it was a special order. normally i make a 12lb and a 15lb that will hold anything. I had to make a few anchors and racks so since i had pics here you go .

I likes. What are you talking about with the zip ties though?!?

You actually tie rope to bottom of anchor and zip tie the rope to the top loop(not tied) that way if it gets Hung up, all you got to do is get above it and break the zip tie. The anchor will come up upside down.
Zip tie on top so if it gets hung you just pull the zip tie loose and now you are pulling the anchor from the bottom making it easier to get unhung.

I figured that was what you meant. I just never thought the zip tie would hold a boat in current and wind or waves. I'm guessing you only use one anchor and always off the front of the boat?

I use one in heavy current. And 2 in open water. One off front and I drop one straight down in back. That prevents the boat from swaying to much.
Thanks for the info. I'm sorta looking now for me a catfishing boat. I dont want to use the boat I crappie fish out of for catfishing so I might own 2 boats before this year is out. I'm also planning on doing some hunting around the lakes so I wouldnt mind throwing a bloody deer in the kind of boat I'm planning on getting. It wont be a looker but I hope it'll make a decent fishing boat for catfishing. Time will tell I guess.
