I'll be there around 4:30. Plan on a good night of fishing with lots of big fish. But if that don't happen then it's all good for just the outing with some good friends.

Depending on when my truck gets back and traffic on 485 I'll be there around 5 or later.
    Where is everyone fishing?

Scoop, you still fishing by yourself tonight? I may have someone familiar to Wylie that may go tonight and will ride with you if you'll have him. It's Lynnie my son, you meet him when we had the first clash. I think we will fish either in Torrance creek or in Big Allison.

Well it was Slim Pickens fishing with Scooperdude last night for I had a off night. We managed a few nice size crappie with some throw backs. White perch seemed to like us better. Caught fish deep and shallow they came in waves nothing steady. I know the other guys had some fish and I hope they put numbers with their report.
I hope I didn't hurt anything on Scoops boat because I pulled a Remus, tripped and ran off balance to the back of the boat. Landed on right knee and shoulder with my head and neck hitting the back bench seat. I am sore as the devil this morning. I had a pleasant time with Scooperdude, he is a true gentleman, I enjoyed the conversations of military experiences, power and authority, kids and all the B/S that goes with fishing. I hope he invites me back aboard. I like the set up of his toon and I know he will improvise his plans to make it a fine tuned fishing machine. Thanks Grady!

Did have a great time last night. A wee bit on the chilly side but bearable. Glad to see all the ones who did brave the chill and come out. Except for a few minor dings on a couple of the guys everyone got home safe. Had Kurt (a.k.a..SS. Minnow 27) on my boat. We setup in 28 f.o.w near a deeper channel. Water was 54 when we started. Plenty of bait on the lights real quick.Minnows on tightline. Fro m the bottom up to about 12 feet . Bigger fish came from shallower in the water column this time. Them dang perch tried to eat us alive for a while. Then a few crappie would get in on the fun.Think we had 31 crappie and kept 28. Several pushing 2 lb. Big fish was 2 .4 if I remember right. Not on fire but steady. I think everyone caught fish. We will be doing it again soon. Come on out and join the nutcase crowd. You will see and hear things you may not want to see or hear. But for sure you will have a good time. And maybe catch a few fish along the way. Kurt is supposed to post the pics from our boat but who knows on that.

I had it home by 2:15 and in bed by 2:45. It's fun fishing at night when everything works.
BigDawgg didn't give away the secret spot since we didn't exactly clean Wylie out of Crappie. I'm lucky I don't mind much what I catch as long as the line gets jerked.
I'm glad BigDawgg wasn't hurt bad and didn't wind up in the water. He needs to work on the walking thing.
The best thing about a toon is you aren't likely to fall over the side unless you hang over the back. :-)
BD you are welcome anytime, I usually have an open seat. Thanks for going along.
