Thread: Night stalk

We use to have a lot of nightstalks but the ones that did have all gone to day time fishing including myself. I still have all my night fishing gear and lights and do go nightstalking a few times a year. We may get a date set up to have a group nightstalk. We use to just post that we were going and at times we would have 5 or more boats all fishing close together. Was a lot of fun and we would only fish until 11 or 12 at the latest because most the time the bite stops around that time and we old guys needs our sleep .

We do get together every now and then over here on Wylie. Just like you said , kind of a meet and greet and go fish. Keep an eye on the board cause it is about time to set up one.

Used to be ALOT of fun and was something we did mainly during the colder months so we avoided the bugs and boat traffic. I doubt I could put together enough lights and such for any more night stalks though as about all I do is fish during the daylight hours anymore. I've given away most of my night fishing stuff.

It is a lot of fun anytime. Billy set one up when the moon gets right. I can get up a crew. I'll take the day off if it's when I'm working. By the way your seat is setting on the back door steps. Get it when you want, I'll not shoot you.

Come on over if we get one going. I know it's a good ride over this way. Maybe you can get a ride with one of us and not have to bring the boat. Keep an eye out for the posting.

I have a big sodium light that will light up 20ft x 20 ft x 20-30 ft deep. We used it when we striper fish to catch bait at night. I also have lights that go in the water.
