Yep we got over 3 1/2'' here so it will muddy the waters. May drive the fish a little deeper, just hard to say until the mud hits the lakes. The bite will still be happening but may be slower than it has been.
Whats all the rain we got, 2" , going to do to the spawn? Assuming it's going to be muddy or badly stained waters. And cooled it off in the shallows.
Thanks

Brett,
We fished Wylie friday and saturday, the fish were in the very back of the creeks, to be honest, most the females that we (scca tourney) caught were already laid out. Fish were up way up in the water. We caught fish from 6' to 12' deep. IF you want the spots we fished PM me I'll give you some more details.

If the waters muddy to the point that you can see the mud churning in the water IMO the fish will pull back to somewhat clearer water. Otherwise, even with less than 6" visibility the fish will remain in the water theyre in now (shallow) and us fishermen will have to deal with all the trash that will be on top. There again....JMO.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
I feel the fish that are in the shallows are now committed to the shallows. The mud does nothing but deter the fishermen, and makes it harder for the fish to find the baits. Usually a heavily stained waterway equates to a very good spawn as many of the laying fish will survive to do their business, and the fry have a better chance for survival as the stained waters offer them protection.
