Well wasn't going to go out with all the crazy ppl but wht the hell. started late out from calhoun falls park bout 930am. started out with a 22inch bass then small white bass and a really good white bass. Then while i was trolling across rocky river to try other side boat pulls up ans asks for a tow seems their prop went out sounds like they stripped the gears well any way. I decide to tow then to 72 ramp as i was pulling in the small rods my bait caster bends down to the water and lo and behold nice keeper stripper bout 8lbs. towed them to ramp . Tehy wanted to pay me but i figured the stripper was payment enough.
fished couple more hours couple more white bass anc 2 small cats, then family showed up for the cookout at the park. Oh on side note plenty of crazy boaters ripping around one cam real close that it poped my wife's rod out of the rod holder and in the drink it went. finished the day with the kids and grand kids and the grandson trying to eat the muddy bank kid will eat anything. Prolly do most of my fishing during the week. and by the time i thouhgt of pics i was already cleaning the fish will see if the wife took any..water temp started at 75 and by end of say was like 78 deg..

Hopefully ill get to posting more but plenty to do round the property and i dont like the hot weather..

Good to see a report from Russell . Caught some fish and spent family time it dont get any better. On a side note good job giving someone a hand that needed it. I know you had a good feeling as you crossed from the dark side to the ga side.

Thanks for the Russell report. When you cross over that state line you never know what you will see, glad you made it back to the SC side safe

Glad to hear you caught some fish on Russell. That lake can be a hard nut to crack. Congrats on your day.
