    Default New jig box

Catching so many on minnows right now, I haven’t pulled out the jig rods lately. But I picked up some jigs from Keith @ Black Sheep jigs today and my new jig box came today too. So pretty I had to show somebody. Name: IMG_4147.jpg

Nice. What is the material around some of them where the chenille usually is? Thats unusual and something different.

It’s a plastic “wing” that is supposed to make it flutter on the way down. They were always referred to as No Alibi jigs in SC. There was a gentleman up near Lake Wylie that use to make thousands every year. I thought when he retired, that I wouldn’t be able to get any more. But Mr Jim Rector with Crappie Cookies is making them again and doing really nice ones. Im lucky to have two great tiers nearby with Keith and Jim.
