Mighty fine fish Derrick. I tried to go myself the other day but my trolling motor has decided to call it quits. Just had it rebuilt 1 1/2 year ago. So I guess I will have play a lot of music shortly to get another. Maybe I'll catch up with ya one day out there.

I hate to hear your trolling motor called it quits on you. I had to have mine rebuilt about 2 years ago...along with the big motor They always say boat is really an acronym (B.O.A.T - Bust Out Another Thousand) and I believe it. Between gas and repair/maintenance bills mine holds pretty true. I couldn't imagine life without a boat though. Hopefully you can pick that guitar and get your trolling motor squared away soon. We'll have to get up and fish together in the coming weeks.

It's been a grind the last few months, but things started picking up towards the end of December. This is shaping up to be one of the better winters we've had in some time. Last time I remember catching fish like this is December/January we were tightlining and Lord knows how long its been since the tightline bite has been consistently good for me on Murray.
