    Default jig company

Has anyone on this board had any dealings with Smooth Lure Co. in Ridgeway, Sc.?I placed a order with them over 2 months ago and was charged on my account but have not heard from them and have not received my jigs. I have e-mailed them twice with no response back. Just want to warn anyone else so you don't get taken! http://smoothlures.com/index.php?mai...action=success

Have not seen him post in a while. Hate to hear you are having a problem receiving your order, hope you hear from him soon.

    Slab,
I am not familar with the company, sorry you are getting the run around. I looked at some of their jigs on the website and I can tell you that StumpHunter jigs are just as good if not better and you won't get ripped off. He responded to your post above me but he is too modest to tell you his jigs are really good but I have used them and I will tell you they are a good investment.

Hope the other fellow comes through for you, hate for you to have a bad taste for us SC folks.

Hunter (smoothlures) ties a very nice jig. There must be a problem that he is having so hopefully he will get back with you soon. Thanks SlabLapper4sure for the info.

I remember back when Smoothlures used to post a lot. I haven't seen him around in a long time. My guess would be he's have some sort of problem as well. Hopefully he gets it worked out ASAP.

The website seems like a well run outfit. I don't know what the deal is. I hope I hear back from them!

i've gotten jigs from him, its been a while back (year or more) good folks, even sent me more than I ask for. I'm guessing some must be wrong (sick or something) but like its already been said haven't heard or seen anything from him in a while now.

    thanks for the FYI.

And I second the Stumphunter jigs; he's one upstanding member on here and his jigs look to be quality work too.
    If you don't get hung every-once-n-a-while you ain't jigg'n it right..:D
