Default Anybody Thinking About The Weekend Yet?!?

The forecasted temperatures are beginning to look like FISHING WEATHER!!Thumbs UpThumbs Up Check out those overnight lows (daylight temperatures). Man! If you aint already fishing this summer then a forecast like this one should get you interested. I might even have to fish against a weekend crowd to feel some of those 65* temps again.

Looks good I might have to give it a try.. after selling my old boat I still ain't switched any of my electronics till today.. I took off the x135 lowrance and put my 570 di up front, now I'm thinking about putting the x135 next to my 385 combo on the helm.. that way instead of useing the split screen on my 385 I can just keep it on naviagation and use the 135 for sonar.. what y'all think ?

Rofl that has happened so many time to me...... With the price of gas jumping high again the lakes may clear some on the weekends and in a few weeks the schools will start back and poeple will forget about the lakes.

School has already started in some of the counties on the Ga side of the lakes and our county schools starts back next week. Then Labor Day Weekend will be here shortly. IMO that's about the last HURRAY for the pleasure boaters and they'll start winterizing and putting their boats up for this year. Then in another week bow hunting begins. It aint that long before we regain our lakes!Thumbs Up But Like you said StumpHumer...if the price of gas keeps going up we aint gonna need the lake back. I just put $60 worth of gas in my boat yesterday.

McSlabs, have you ever talked with anyone that owns a 4 stroke motor? They talk like those things run off of fumes.

Good catch Butch. Saw coming in and was wondering how you did.
Now them 4 strokes are easy on gas. my tank is a17 gal and have never put more then 9 gals in at one time after fueling it the first time. Can go about 6 to 7 trips before it gets to ha;f empty on the meter.

I need a 4 stroke instead of my old two stroke 150!!!! I think my gas tank leaks are something. I don't ever do a whole lot of running, but my tank drains fast!!!
Hooking up every chance I get!
