Been catching crappie in this spot at with my lines set around 25' deep. In this pic you see the bait down from the surface to around 8' and several crappie ranging from 25 to 30 feet deep.

And another. You can see fish comes under the boat at different depths but generally there's some around the 25' range.

Looks like you have your chart speed to fast. That is why the fish on the screen are so elongated. Reducing the chart speed will make these echos become more < fish symbols. Just a suggestion. It sometimes helps me to distinguish elongated bait fish schools from individual fish.Originally Posted by gabowman
