Default Fishing under the Super Moon 5-4

It was a long, good night. My and dad went back to the same spot on Clarks Hill and caught 21 crappies and 1 channel cat. We fished from 9pm to 3am. The fish were slow to start until we started to chum for the bait fish. We caught some threadfin and they were our bait of choice. The crappies did not want the minnows. That was ok we me. I always find a way to catch some fish at night.

Catching those threadfin sounds like it was the ticket to a cooler of fish last nite. I never tried that when I nightstalked but probably should have. There were many times I'd mark fish under my baits but they wouldnt feed. Bet if I had tried threadfins it mighta been different.

Congrats on the catch for you and your Dad and thanks for sharing the report and pictures. Also thanks for sharing the tip for your success.Thumbs Up
