I was at Cedar creek sat morning catfishing and saw no signs of stripers or white bass. There was only 3 boats there when we left and not a soul on the bank fishing for whites, only a few on the rocks fishing for stripes.Talked to DNR wensday and he said the stripes were not at Cedar creek yet.It looked like a ghost town,it seems like it has really gone down hill down there in the last few years.WE NEED A SIZE LIMIT!

they need water . the last few years the run hasn't happened according to the bioligist. they said that there hasn't been enough water flow to spark that feeling of runnin the river . they are getting more current from the small creeks around the lake rather than the river and the run is sparked by water temps and water flow , you need both . i looked at there last creel survey a few weeks ago and the numbers are as good as they have ever been

Was up there Friday, Did not catch a striper. plenty of white perch and cats. The fog was awful, so I trusted my gps to motor slowly from wateree creek up the river, no problems. There was a ton of Threadfin shad at the bridge. Talked to a couple guys who had fished the day before and they did not get a striper bite. Water temp was 69 to 72 degrees and they did not turn the water on till 10am. Don't know where they are ?
