Thread: Happy Birthday Rango

Thanks to everyone for their birthday wishes. Had a quiet, uneventful day which i guess all old folks is supposed to have.. my neighbor, who was on the road driving a big rig called wantin me to check out his water. said his wife called and said it was spewing so i went to lowes and got what i needed to fix if for him.. it took longer than i calculated and i decided not to take the beast and look up CK to could see if we could find some action somewhere. then a friend come by yesterday evening with 28 pretty pond crappie hed caught and give to me. even helped me clean em. .kitty made me birthday cake the day before which got smoked pretty fast. its pictured below. the marks on the plate is where ive picked some stray icing with my finger. its my cake so i figgered i could do it . kittys off again tomorrow so looks like well be checking out wylie again

Tell Ms. Kitty to leave a few for seed. I know she likes to catch them all.......

thumper kitty loves catching perch and crappie. and like me she will do it legaly with as many rods as she wants to use.

The way she's been burning the perch, I don't see how she can handle more than one or two rods at a time.

since things have slowed down shes upped her ante from 4 to six rods when its slow, one when it heats up. ive cautioned her against running that many rods, three off each sides cause the tangle factor goes way up in a moving boat. especially since im running mine off the back. when i complain to her when one her lines gets back there in all four of mine, she tells me to suck it up. so i suck it up. that or i can expect to be sleeping with angus for a few days.
